RUTXR1 with newest fw
Two sim cards installed
Failover configured & working. Device switches to 2nd SIM-card when 1st SIM goes down. Device keeps using 2nd SIM until it goes down, and then switches back to SIM1.
I would want to use the 1st SIM as soon as it is working again. Is this possible or do I need a dual modem router?

Unfortunately, on devices with a single modem, it is not possible to automatically switch back to SIM1 once the connection with ISP is established back. The router will continue using the active SIM until it goes down again or Switch to the next SIM after delay option is used.
If you require automatic switching back to SIM1 as soon as it is available, a dual-modem router like the RUTX12 would be a suitable solution.
