Rutx 11 and bluetooth temperature sensor

HI,
i have rutx11 ruter. It have bluetooth connection.
Whats is best ble temperature sensor for push data from bluetooth to mqtt to my homeassistant?
I am using firmware RUTX_R_00.07.14 on my RUTX11. Can it scan and forward data from a Xiaomi LYWSD03MMC Bluetooth sensor to an MQTT broker that Home Assistant can read from?
Thanks for advice.

Hello,

There are many BLE temperature sensors available on the market, including options from Teltonika Telematics and various third-party manufacturers. It’s difficult to specify a single “best” device, as most Bluetooth 4.0-compatible sensors should work well for this kind of setup.

Regarding your scenario, forwarding Bluetooth sensor data to an MQTT broker and subscribing to it via Home Assistant, this is indeed possible to achieve on your RUTX11 router. You can use the Data to Server service to send Bluetooth data to your MQTT server or broker.

Detailed information and useful instructions for the Data to Server service are available here:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Best regards,

Thanks for answer.
Will the Teltonika EYE SENSOR EN12830 works will rutx11? Where can buy this sensor?

Yes, RUTX11 should support the EYE sensors mentioned here. For these sensors’ purchasing availabilities, you should contact Teltonika Telematics via their crowd support page (TELEMATICS - Teltonika Community), their contact us page (Teltonika Telematics) or consider the option to buy them from a local distributor.

Thanks for answer.
I bought a Teltonika EYE SENSOR EN12830 and I’m trying to pair it with RUTX11, but after PAIRing, there is no PIN code on RUTx11 and it doesn’t show temperature data. It only shows MAC and connection strength, but doesn’t decode temperature and other data? Where i should add sensor BLE PIN code?

Martynas, why you edited post after I write post with problem pairing sensor? In first post you write that sensor will work. :upside_down_face:

Hello,

Apologies for the confusion caused. At first glance, the sensor you mentioned appeared similar to the EYE Beacon we have for testing, which is fully compatible with the BLE-supported RUTX devices, mentioned in wiki page.

However, I missed the part where all compatible (tested) sensors were listed, my apologies for that oversight.

Regarding the PIN code, it shouldn’t be necessary for reading temperature data from the sensor.

Best regards,

Hmm, I bought the Eye Sensor EN12830 sensor because I received confirmation from you that it will work. So how do I currently get the sensor data onto the rutx11 router? When there is no place to enter the PIN code and unlock the encryption? Can you look into this issue?
