RUTM52 SIM issue – "not inserted" after SIM swap until reboot

We are using a RUTM52 router running firmware version RUTM_R_00.07.21.2. After swapping SIM cards, the router does not recognize the SIMs until a reboot is performed. Without rebooting, the SIM status remains “not inserted.”

  • Was this issue present on previous firmware versions, or did it appear only after a recent update?
  • How exactly are you swapping the SIM cards - are you removing them physically from the device or using another method?

I’d say the problems only started with this version.

I’m physically removing the SIM card from the router.

For testing purposes, is it possible to downgrade the firmware to the latest stable one and check if the issue still persists?

This will allow us to check if the issue is firmware related.
