Hi,
I try to limit the frequency of the sending message to my http server using the NMEA forwarding.
I put only the GPGGA sentence ON and a 60 for frequency interval.
I receive only the GPGGA sentience but with a frequency of more than 60, perhaps each second.
Is there a way to do that?
Thanks for answer
Marc
Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry.
We are currently reviewing and analyzing the behavior you’re experiencing with the NMEA forwarding interval settings. Once we have more details or insights on this matter, I will follow up with you here accordingly.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
I do a try with 600 for the forwarding interval and for the forwarding cache I put 1000 maximum sentences. I don’t understand the impact of the last modification.
And now I have a connection all the 10min!
Hello,
The maximum sentences parameter defines the maximum number of NMEA sentences that will be stored in the cache (either in RAM or flash memory) before older entries are overwritten by new ones.
The forwarding interval specifies the time interval at which the collected NMEA sentences are sent to your HTTPs server.
With the parameters you’ve set — forwarding interval: 600 seconds and maximum sentences: 1000, the NMEA data should now be forwarded to your server every 10 minutes, assuming that the selected sentences accumulate in the cache to reach the limit during that interval.
Let me know if you still need any assistance or have further questions.
Best regards,
