RUTM30 does not accept WAN IP address but accepts LAN IP address

So, my RUTM30 does never obtains an IP address over WAN (to my ISP), no matter what I do.

When I connect the RUTM30 WAN port to the LAN port of my RUTX10 (which incidentally has no problem getting an IP address over WAN from the same ISP connection), RUTM30 happily obtains an IP address.

So why is it that RUTM30 does not obtain an IP address over WAN, but it does over LAN i.e. from the DHCP server of the RUTX10?

Ok, further investigations point at the MAC address for the WAN device.

When I clone the MAC address from my RUTX10 and save the changes to the WAN device, then it goes DOWN and then UP, after which it obtains the IP-address.

But when I reboot the router or simply removes the cloned MAC address, it does not remember this so it reverts back to a MAC address that resembles the address of the LAN device.

So until Teltonikas finds something else, I would say this is a bug in the software, I encountered the same behaviour in the TCR100.
