RUTM09 Mobile Static IP

Hi,
I need to assign a static IP to SIM1 on my RUTM09.
When I set type to static, it says no device assigned, and the link stays down.

Does anyone have any advice.

Hi,

Static or dynamic IP depends of the SIM provider, not the modem. You should contact it to see if an option exists.

Which provider do you have ? It is possible someone can give more details.

The solution is using a private APN. I will contact the service provider to allocate the IP to the SIM

I have a private VPN with my provider. They have allowed static IP, however the IP must be configured on the device. On Windows we can set it, I need to do the same on the RUTM09

You can set this via the NETWORK > WAN menu selection. See here ….

Changing the mob1s1a1 to static gives an issue.
