RUTC50 WAN-ETH Light stays Off

Hello,

I just got my RUTC50 to communicate with my ISP.
There were some hurdles to get the PPPOE config to work with the Telekom Network, the reason for that might be that I have no experience with this kind of industry hardware. (So far I used Non-ISP consumer level hardware)
After setting the the Override MTU value to 1492 and setting the physical connection of the wan to an interface with VLAN 7, I am now online.

However I noticed that the WAN-ETH light (over the power connector) is still off. Could my configuration be the cause of that or is this a bug in the firmware?

Good afternoon,

Can i just clarify, do you have a logical connection setup configuration, or do you have an end device connected to our router to Lan port, via ethernet cable?
If so, what is the end device itself?
