It seems the blocking of IPv6 traffic over the mobile connection was the cruel pit. Blocking the UDP traffic on port 443 did not make any noticeable difference, despite the fact that is actually blocking some packets.
My connections are much better now but it seems I may need a better antenna setup, I will look into that as well. Thanks for now.
