Has anyone noticed that the RUTC50 runs 15 degrees hotter than the RUTX50 with the same configuration.
I’m assuming its WiFi 6 in operation when the 15 degrees temperature jump when in operation,or the CPU is generating it?
I have tested these unit in a Quwireless QUSPOT housing when the outdoor temperature is 30c
RUTX50 41c
RUTC50 56c

Yes, I’m monitoring a RUTC50 device frequently for the last few weeks and got maximum modem temperatures of 69 degrees Celsius (internally) very close to the operation limit and case temperatures of up to 41,5 degrees Celsius (externally) at the Office (inhouse) with WLAN disabled completely. It seems to me that the device may need some external cooling if one would like to utilize the RUTC50 at an outside use case. It’s surely about 10 to 15 degrees Celsius higher device temperature than a RUTX50 device under same working conditions here in my inhouse office test environment.

I think Teltonika should be aware of this.
RUTC50 may need a redesign of thermal cooling system in newer model versions.
It was 32c in the UK last week and the internal modem temperature was 55c with WiFi 6 bands 2.4/5.8GHz on. Just mounted on a table
I was only streaming music from the internet at a low data rate.
