RUTC50 Temperature and WIFI Related

Hi Team,
I realized some time the response time from the router became very slow. Will it be related to using the built-in wifi antenna? do i need to look for other AP instead of built-in WiFi?
The router temperature being 46 °C, is it normal?

This screenshot shows the ping time is max 5-6 sec. On the other hand, when I see throttling/slowdown in performance, the ping response goes more than 1000s. I am using the ISP-provided modem as WAN and 5G SIM card as failover.

Normally

**During the slow down time, Router temperature was 48 °C **

Need some suggestion on this

Hello,

Could you let us know if the issue still persists?

If so, does this behavior occur when testing the performance by connecting a device directly to the router via Ethernet? This could help determine if the slowdown is related to the built-in WiFi or another factor.

Additionally, can you confirm if there isn’t significant WiFi interference from other networks or devices? You can check for channel congestion in Status → Wireless → Channel Analysis. If interference is detected, selecting a less crowded channel for used radio(s) in Network → Wireless → Radio may improve performance.

Lastly, if your RUTC50 is running an older firmware version, please update it to the latest 7.13.2 release for optimal performance and stability.

Best regards,
