RUTC50 / RutOS 7.22.1: VoLTE set to Off in WebUI/API, but modem IMS remains enabled

Device: RUTC50
Firmware: RUTC_R_00.07.22.1
Modem: Quectel RG520N-EBDC
Carrier: Vodafone Germany

Problem:
WebUI and API show VoLTE = Off, but the modem runtime still reports IMS enabled.

Evidence:

  • WebUI: VoLTE Off
  • API config: VoLTE Off
  • CLI command:
    gsmctl -A ‘AT+QCFG=“ims”’
    returns:
    +QCFG: “ims”,1,0

This means the configured VoLTE state does not match the actual modem IMS state.

Additional note:
The issue was first noticed after updating to firmware 7.22.1.
It is not yet verified whether the same behavior was also present on 7.21.3.

Observed behavior:

  • WebUI/API indicate VoLTE is disabled
  • modem runtime still keeps IMS enabled
  • this suggests a config/runtime mismatch or that the setting is not correctly applied to the modem

Can Teltonika confirm whether this is a known RutOS 7.22.1 issue on RUTC50 / RG520N-EBDC?
