RUTC50 internal modem failing

Hello i have a RUTC50 that keeps disconnecting, this can and does happen several times every day.

when i’m actively using my computer connected to the the wifi from the RUTC50 it usually is stable, not 100% but atleast more reliable. As soon as the computer goes into hibernation or sleep (when for example leaving for lunch) when i get back the wifi is still up but the modem connected to the WWAN has stopped working and it does not start up on it’s own. it fails to recognize there is even a simcard in the sim slot.

i can usually get it up and running quickly again by accessing the RUTC50 going into the Status → Network → Mobile page and clicking the Restart Connection from there. so far this has worked every time.

Any help with getting this sorted out would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, @Krillstoffer

Have you try a firmware update?

I should probably have mentioned that in my original post, but yes it’s running the latest firmware version 00.07.13.3

keeping your mobile connect at same wifi… It is also stop working?

Today the router is acting up even worse than before, it has disconnected the internal modem twice before lunch today.

just a snippet from the network event log.

Hello…

Can you share a screen of the WiFi setting of your device?

that i can do…

Hi… Sorry…
I was talking the screen settings of the Teltonika device.

Sample…

General Setup? Additional Settings? Advanced Settings?

Thank you.

Hi…
Just for test…
Can you change channel size from 80MHz to 40MHz?

Sample…

tried these settings on the 5GHz wifi.

After applying the changes the WIFI gets dropped on my computer and i can’t find it when looking for available WIFI networks.

switching over to the 2.4Ghz to get into the router again, and i can see the 5GHz wifi is still up and running but as i said i can’t find/access it from my computer, Swapping the width back to 80Mhz makes it show up again in my computer and im also able to connect via the 5Ghz wifi again.

Have you try to change the channel of your 5GHz wifi?
It is in auto? Can you change it, just for a test, to a static channel?
