RUT9M_R_00.07.13.4 and L2TP VPN

Hi,
Today I ran into problem when implementing RUT9M, after succesfull test on RUT2M.

L2TP over IPSec VPN traffic from L2TP to LAN block if firewall traffic rule should allow it. Modifying it from L2TP zone to Any and changing back to L2TP solves problem until next reboot of device.
Has anyone seen this also? First I tested on RUT2M with same firmware version and did not see the problem.
Now with current RUT9M it seems that there is a problem with firewall rule definition.
Also no ping from L2TP to device IP address, but changing in firewall from LT2P to any and back to L2TP allows ping from L2TP connection to device until next reboot.

Apologies for the delay, and thank you for describing the issue you’ve faced in detail.

This specific issue with L2TP over IPsec VPN traffic being blocked was already known to our developers, and it’s expected to be fixed in the upcoming RutOS 7.14.3 firmware release.

L2TP/IPSEC VPN don’t work

Hello, Since updating my RUTX10 to version 7.14, my L2TP/IPSEC VPN no longer works (iOS client). I deleted it then recreated it. It worked. But now it doesn’t work again without having touched anything. Have you been asked about this problem? Sincerely Lucien
