RUT961 Failover not working as expected with Starlink

We have a Starlink Mini connected to the WAN interface and a mobile sim in the first sim slot. We want to configure a failover that favors the Starlink interface over the mobile connection.

The Starlink connection in our lab is weak but stable. If we connect the Starlink Mini directly to our computer, we have a stable connection to our server. When we connect the Starlink Mini to our computer via the RUT961, the RUT961 frequently (like every 10 seconds) registers a connection failure on the WAN port and interrupts the connection.

We have already set the UP and DOWN counters to 1000 in the failover settings to ā€œdisableā€ this faulty connection loss registration, but the RUT961 is still constantly changing the connection status like every 10 seconds.

From our point of view, the values from the failover settings are not being applied correctly. So it works worse than if we connect the Starlink Mini directly to the computer. Is this a software bug in the RUT961 or have we overlooked any settings? We have installed the latest firmware today.

Hiā€¦

Just checkingā€¦
The Starlink tcp/ip address? 192.168.x.x ?
The Rut default tcp/ip address! 192.168.1.1/24

The Starlink and the RUT (LAN) cannot use the same network ip address range! (192.168.1.0/24)

Hi, @koko
Any news?

Thank you very much, it really was! I changed the RUT LAN network to 192.168.2.x and now the failover works as it should.
