Hi, we tried the following input/output connector pinout connections to use the digital out to control a replay coil.
DO = connected to relay A1 and A2 to gnd
+V = connected to 24VDC power supply
GND3 = connected to 24VDC power supply common
We followed this diagram:
https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Relay_to_Open_Collector_Output
When we tested the on/off isolated output only 5VDC was present on the DO connection.
Please can our wiring connections be confirmed? Or explain alternative connections?
The last option would be to use the replay on pins 5 & 10.
Thanks
JL
Hi jonathan.lang,
Welcome back to Teltonika Networks Community!
I can confirm that wiring is correct as you have followed the diagram in the link. I just want to mention that the voltage between the DO pin and GND will be based on the load connected to it. Try to put different load (i.e. resistors with different values) and check if voltage level will change.
Let me know if it helps.
Regards,
Hi thanks we found that it was not able to relay RSL1AB4BD which has a minimum of 100mA switching current and 12V? Is this too much?
JL
Hi,
The electrical specification for Digital Output pin is up to 30 V, 250 mA. This means that it can handle a relay with lower electrical specs.
Regards,
system
