RUT956 loses connectivity every 2 minutes private APN

Hello,

We are currently looking at setting up RUT956 towards private APN. But for some reason we lose connectivity (1 ping) every one-two minutes which causes a new RADIUS-Request to be sent. After about 20 minutes it also sometimes loses connectivity completely and needs a manual reboot.

I have tested every firmware release since 07.04.02 (last two years) but the issue remains. We have also tested on a RUTx09 with firmware 07.01.2 and it works perfectly fine. This should rule out the issue is with service provider.

When running public APN with RUT956 we do not have this issue.

We are basically (in test environment) running default configuration.

So… you try the last RUT9M_R_00.07.13 | 2025.03.03 ?

No because it is not downloadable, it was removed due to error with auto reboot.

So… you need to open a ticket with Teltonika to solve the question about the update fail of your device.

Do you try to download the .bin to your computer and upload from your computer to device?

You are not making any sense.

I have NOT tested 17.13 because they removed it for downloading. I am NOT having any troubles with update failure. I have tested all other firmware releases from 07.04.02 to 07.12.3.
