RUT956 firmware 00.07.13.4

Hi,

During the latest update of our routers (RUT956 and RUTx14) from 00.07.11.3 to the latest firmware 00.07.13.4 we noticed that in the “SMS Gateway” page, the setup for the sending SMS through REST request (Mobile POST/GET settings) has been removed in the RUT956. This is not the case in the lates firmware in RUTx14. We were using the documentation from https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT956_Mobile_Utilities in POST/GET section for sending SMS.

We also tried to send SMS through the API based on this documentation https://developers.teltonika-networks.com/reference/rut956/7.13.4/v1.5.1/messages#post-messages-actions-send

And this also didn’t work. It seems this API endpoint has not yet been implemented.

Could you please explain why this has been removed and whether it will be fixed or the progress of firmware in RUT956 devices?

I suspect it must have been removed ahead of time because it was supposed to be removed in later firmware Implementation of Read-Only System Files and Mobile and I/O POST/GET Service Removal with RutOS 7.14

To clarify, the Mobile POST/GET functionality is still available on the RUT956 (7.13.4 FW), but it needs to be installed separately via the Package Manager, as mentioned in the topic here:
