There are already support items for setting up an RUT956 for OpenVPN, including using EasyRSA to generate keys with no password.
There are also several community items regarding “TLS handshake failed”.
But none of these help.
- I have made the necessary files in EasyRSA. This does not make an .ovpn file for the client.
- I have set up, saved and activated an OpenVPN Server on the RUT956
- I have tried to set up a client on Ubuntu 22.04, but I keep getting “TLS handshake failed” after a minute.
The client configuration in Ubuntu (not importing an .ovpn file) has lots of options that are not available in the RUT956 OpenVPN Server configuration web page. Surely the Teltonica staff have achieved a VPN connection of this sort and could improve the available documentation.
BTW, I was able to set up the Teltonica as an OpenVPN client but we need to multi-connect to the Teltonica
