RUT956 accidentally powered with 230V – Device not working

Hello everyone,

I have an issue with my RUT956. Unfortunately, 230V was accidentally applied to the 24V input of the device for a short moment. Since then, the device appears to be completely dead – no LEDs light up, and it doesn’t respond to power.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Is there any chance to repair the device, or should I assume it’s beyond saving? Are there any internal fuses or protective mechanisms that could be checked or replaced?

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Hello,

Unfortunately, in this case, it is highly unlikely that the device can be repaired. As a result, the only viable option is to replace the device with a new one.

Best regards,

Hi…

Try to open it… send a picture… top and below… Maybe just the " dc to dc circuit retification " are gone.

Here are the pictures of the underside and the top side.

Hi…

It looks nice…
You need to contact a tech (engineer) that can identify the DC-DC circuit and try to repair it for you.
