RUT955 unable to repair boot loader

I have a RUT955 which has been corrupted by user. When I try to re-install the boot-loader, both current or legacy, I get error messages. Following the instructions it says to hold in the reset button, connect power while holding the Reset button for a further 4 seconds, and all the LED’s will illuminate, mine don’t but the LED’s by the ETH connectors flash. I have managed to get to the 192.168.1.1/uboot.html page and index.html but i get the error messages.

I see from other posts you are able to send a file to cure these issue.

Hello,

Accessing and uploading firmware through the bootloader menu might not resolve all issues. In some cases, the device could be permanently bricked. However, you can still attempt to use legacy firmware from this page: RUT955 Firmware Downloads (legacy WebUI). Try both the latest and earlier versions.
