Recently I changed my Email provider. I re-configured the email account under menu System>Administration>Recipients. Sending a test email to the new provider lead to an error message on RUT web ui.
Which TLS (Transport Layer Security) version do you support? Thanks for your support.
Hello,
Could you please specify the error message you see in the WebUI?
Additionally, under System > Maintenance > Troubleshoot, if you click Show next to System Logs, you can review any additional logs or errors that might explain why there are issues with sending an email.
Best regards,
Good morning Marija, thanks for your reply. I have attached a screenshot of the web ui and a log file. There you can see what I’ve configured resp. what happened during sending the test email. As I wrote in my initial issue it would be interesting what TLS version the RUT955 supports. Thanks for your support. BR Guenther

Do I need the Community support form ticket ID? Please provide.
Please use “10166” as the ticket ID.
Best regards,
Well, finally Marija and the development team helped finding the solution; thank you for that.
RUT955 supports TLS 1.2 and utilizes the STARTTLS protocol for sending secure emails.
This requires using port 587 for SMTP server.
Be aware that SSL/TLS protocol uses port 465 instead.
