RUT955 firmware

Hello,

Why does RUT955 firmware are on a “different branch” than RUT956 ? There EOL is the same (end support 2028-07-31).
The firmware doesn’t seem to offer sames possibilities in both case ? why is that ?

Basically explained here EOL Products especially in regard the 5 year, 24 months and 36 month windows, the RUT956 is not yet EOL … yet
