RUT955 - Firmware upgrade not working

Hi,

I have a RUT955 that is stuck on a certain FW-version. I’ve tried upgrading via SMS, WebUI and Bootloader without sucess. When I do the factory reset (either by SMS or via WebUI) it seems to still keep some settings, so I can’t get it totally clean.

It is stuck on FW: RUT9_R_00.07.02.03

When I check for avalible upgrades, the WebUI and status SMS only says I’ve got the latest. I’ve also tried to install Legacy-versions, but it fails with the Bootloader.

Does anyone have any idea of what I can try?

Not to 00.07.02.07, but I’ve tried just one step up to 00.07.02.04.
Is there anything special with 7.02.7?

Just try to understand… was a issue, when you try to go to the last update version…

Direct from 7.2.3 → 7.6.19 .

But… the ru955 validade the crc checking?

Are you trying over FOTA or direct file from your computer?

I’ve now tried the 7.02.7 version as well, and I get the same result.

I was trying to go from 7.2.3 → 7.6.18 (my other RUT955 have that version). Then I’ve tried to upgrade in smaller steps, for example 7.2.4. But when the LED on the RUT stops flashing and the reboot is done, the firmware is still 7.2.3.

I’m trying from my computer most of the times, but I’ve also tried via RMS.

After some discussion with the support, the case ended in falty hard ware. Nothing to do in this case.
