i have wired all inputs and outputs in RUT955 and everything works except for the digital input ( pin 3) which is in the power outlet. When i open the gui, without connecting anything it says the state is high ( ie 8-30 VDC ). even when i supply 12v direclty into the pin, it still says high, it doest not change. i have tried 2 rut955 , and both seems to have the same behaviour.
at the moment i have a 12v led with a switch and im trying to see if i get a digital input when the bulb is on and off. when i turn on the bulb i supply the 12v to the Digital input and both have common ground(power ground). Still no success.Any help is appreciated.
Hey , i power my teltonika using a 12v power supply. I have a positive 12V from the same power supply going into the digital input ( 4 pin ). Shouldnt this result in a high state and when i remove the 12V, it should reflect a low state right ? Thankss
Meanwhile, if you remove the 12 V voltage from pin 3, the state should change to Low.
It is possible that something is miswired in your setup, or that your power cable is damaged internally, and the power wire is shorted to the Digital Input wire. Even though unlikely, that would explain the result that you are seeing, with two different devices.
That is the only guess I could make without seeing any connection diagram of your solution, or pictures how everything is indeed connected.
Hey thanks for your reply, yes my wiring is the exact same. But the strange thing is that, even when i dont have +12V going in the digital input it still says state high for both my teltonikas. This is with just the teltonika powered on with its pos and nov. Thanks much
