RUT950: Internal modem is unreachable

Hi there,

I’ve got trouble with my RUT950. I wanted to activate a SIM but keep getting “Internal modem is unreachable”.

Firmware shows:

Is there anything I can upgrade manually or check in the console?

I would be very glad if anyone can help. The modem seems to be EC25-EC.

I know how to access the bootloader menu, my question was what I should do there?

You should access 192.168.1.1/index.html and upload the latest firmware version for your device. You can download it from RUT950 Firmware Downloads.

Regarding the internal modem issue, we need to gather sensitive information about the device modem, which is why we contact clients privately. If the modem is recoverable, we will organize a remote session with you to perform the recovery. If it is not recoverable, the device should be sent to RMA.
