update: the modem seems to have an update but cannot update due to not enough memory

Hi,

Take out SIM and try restarting device and after restart immediately go to Firmware page and start modem update.

Hello @omarlim,

Apologies for the delayed response.

Could you please confirm whether your issue has been resolved or if you still require any assistance?

Best regards,

@lemondude we have tried that and still have that message. also disabled DHCP server, and access the router with static IP still not enough memory error.
@Marija
Still unresolved.

Hello @omarlim,

Thank you for the information.

Could you please let me know which firmware version you upgraded from before installing version 7.14.2? Have you updated with “Keep settings”?

Additionally, could you check whether the same issue occurs if you downgrade back to the previous RutOS firmware? If the issue does not persist, please try upgrading directly from that version to the latest 7.14.3 firmware.

If the issue still occurs, please let me know.

Best regards,

The original firmware was RUT36X_R_00.02.06.1
There is no modem firmware update option on that version

We have records on our logs that this unit was serviced by Teltonika (Oct-2022) by technician ZygimantasBliu.

Hello,

Could you please check if you are able to update the modem on RutOS firmware version 7.14.3?

Best regards,

Still unable to update
