RUT360 dead after Firmware Upgrade and reboot

Hello,
today I added a new SIM into my RUT360 and I did a recommended firmware upgrade as well: New is: RUT36X_R_00.07.06.10_WEBUI.bin
Everythink went fine all things worked as desired.
Mobile with new SIM, WLAN etc. But after a (hard) reboot, the router is dead.
Only Power LED. Nothing else. No other signs, no LAN access. No blinking of any other LED. Reset button without function. This isn’t as expected. The router is for my Internet homeoffice in my RV. Not funny.
Waiting for help now.
Regards
Stefan

Hi,

How long was the router working before you installed the new SIM card and firmware? How have you been powering the router? What power source have you used? This looks like a critical power failure.

Best regards,
Marijus

Hello.
After upgrading firmware and config of new SIM the running time before switch off was about 5 minutes.
Power was 230 Volt, LED is green. I tested with 12 V as well with same result. Only Power LED nothing else.

Stefan

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. Did you use a 230V or 9V wall power adapter?

Either way, have you tried using the bootloader procedure to recover your device? If not, here are the instructions for it: Bootloader menu instructions

Kind regards,
Marijus

Hello and thank you for your assistance,
but sadly there is no success. Bootloader doesn’t help:
Nothing is happening.
I’m using a 230V power adapter and a 12V adapter as well,
I tested with both without any progress.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello,

Looks like your router isn’t responding to any of your efforts, it may need to be replaced. Please get in touch with your sales representative or contact Teltonika directly, especially if you purchased it directly from Teltonika. We’ll be able to start the RMA process for you.

Best regards,
Marijus
