The RUT301 and devices in LAN 1 (10.7.37.97) are delivered by us.
The customer has provided connection to the Teltonika RMS on WAN side port of the RUT301. We want to use the RUT301 and Teltonika Cloud (VPN Hubs) for remote access.
Now the customer has another (unknown to us) LAN from which he wants to access data from a customer PC to PC 10.7.37.99. This LAN should be reachable via RUT LAN port 4.
The customer said we can use the IP 10.7.43.217 and the gateway is 10.7.43.222.
At first we wanted to use port forwarding on WAN port so the customer can access the data from the RUT 301 WAN side, since there is another customer firewall in beetween. Sadly this is not allowed according to our customer.
I have a feeling that this whole setup can’t work, at least I do not how to configure it.
Why not set up the LAN4 (WAN) port as a LAN port? ( Setting up WAN as LAN - Teltonika Networks Wiki ) - Since the way it works is LAN ports give internet, where as the WAN porttakes internet from the device that it is connected to, is that really what the customer wants?
If the above is applicable, and you do switch the WAN port to a LAN port, you can then just add a route to the subnet in the RMS VPN Hub that is being used, and you should be able to access the end device without any issues.
