RUT241 Vehicle Mount

Just received RUT241.

Need to mount it in a vehicle. 2017 Dodge Ram if that matters.

The goal is make the truck a mobile hotspot to work remotely.

There will be no ethernet connections so PoE won’t work (?).

Is there no DC power supply?

A $15 ‘surface mount kit’ came with it but I really can’t see two two-square inch pieces of plastic being strong enough to mount it in a vehicle.

I can’t be the first one to do this.

No other posts here for it.

Are there aftermarket components available?

Not sure which “surface mount kit” you refer? Have a look at the PR5MEC22 surface clip holder kit, that works well.

The 4 pin power cable DC power cable is PR2FK20M
