RUT241 offline after updated the firmware via The Bootloader Menu

Hi,

I have a RUT241 that’s offline. A month ago durnig the last test I run before take it to the field happened the same. I updated the firmware via The Bootloader Menu(now it has the RUT2M_R_00.07.09.1_WEBUI.bin that I downloaded from your webpage) and it was working.

Now, I installed it on the field and it’s offline in the RMS again but it has signal. What shoud I do?? Update the firmeare again via The Bootloader Menu?? If so, which is the good firmware to avoid this happening again??

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you don’t have physical access to the device, I recommend first trying to restart the RMS service remotely using the following SMS command sequence:

  1. <admin password> rms_off;
  2. Wait a few moments;
  3. <admin password> rms_on;
  4. Wait a few moments;
  5. <admin password> rms_connect

If the issue persists, you could also attempt a remote firmware update using the command:

<admin password> fw_upgrade

After the update, try reconnecting the device to RMS.

Additionally, if the issue continues, could you provide more details about any specific errors shown in the RMS or device logs (accessible through RMS) to help more effectively troubleshoot the issue?

Best regards,

Ok, thank you very much.

I already solved it!

Thanks!
