RUT241 not connecting to RMS after factory reset

Due to different reasons I had to facory reset one of our RUT241 via the reset button. To be able to regain access via RMS, I unregsitered said device and re-regsitered it via Serial, LAN MAC and password as usual during the setup wizard. It is registering and also authenticating , as you can see in this picture from the RMS device informations:

But no matter what I do, it just fails to connect to RMS. Sometimes I get “failure” on the RUT-WebUI, sometimes it states “Down (unable to connect to server)”.

The RMS settings remain default as always. So there are no changes to the default RMS address as well as the port. To check if there still is a typo or else, I checked it with our internal testing device. The address, as well as the port are the same. I re-checked the serial as well as the MAC and the password, but everything is fine.

I also un-registered and added the device once again, but can’t get it to connect to RMS. I even stopped and restartet RMS service within the RUT-WebUI with no success. The RUT has WAN as well as mobile connection. Both successfully tested with the speedtest package from package manager. Firmware was updated to the newest version after the first re-registering.

I also checked a few ohter topics here in the community regarding similar issues, but didn’t find anything that helped…

I just dont understand what I am doing wrong. Was the first un-registering maybe not fully completed, so it may be some sort of stuck?

Hope somebody can help me, since I wanted to install this device this afternoon due to a customer emergency.

Don’t ask me how, but it managed to connect somehow. Just out of nowhere. :thinking: :man_shrugging:

I will track the connection for some time to check if the connection remains.
