Rut241 no internet?

I have been using rut241 router with and old firmware for a while and decided to update. But now cannot access Internet over wan interfaces.

I’ve done a factory reset, wiped all the config.
Set lan up to 192.168.99.1/24 and dhcp
Disabled WiFi ap
Enabled WiFi-multi-ap client mode (to bridge to home WiFi when near)
and gave 4g sim for mobile data as secondary wan.

There are no additional firewall rules for outbound lab to wan .. Do I need any?
Lan to wan zone didn’t have masquerading enabled .. Do i need to enable it ?

Failover shows both as down… But the wan interfaces show as up with IPs.

Any suggestions welcome.

Found kernel log had ‘nf_conntrack: nf_conntrack: table full, dropping packet’

Used chatgpt to get a resolution, increasing max conntrack value to 242000 via ssh cli.

Rebooted and its now working.

Is this a known issue ?

Ironically I upgraded to 7.13.3 and it’s supposedly had this exact issue fixed ..?

Hello,

Could you please confirm if your router is not receiving internet from both the Ethernet WAN port and mobile data?

Additionally, if you disable failover, does the issue persist?
