We bought and installed the RUT241 device.
It comes back with “Internal modem is unreachable” problem. I tried to restore factory defaults, and manually update the device firmware, but still the same situation.

Could you please log in to the device via SSH/CLI (Command Line Interfaces RutOS - Teltonika Networks Wiki), execute the lsusb command, and share the output with me?
This command will show whether the device is in Emergency Download Mode and if it can still be recovered, or if it is a hardware issue.

When the modem is in EDL mode and still recoverable, you should see the number 9008 in the output. Unfortunately, in the output you provided, this number is not present, which indicates that there is a hardware issue with the modem.
If your device is still under warranty, please contact your distributor regarding repair.
