I’ve been using rut240s for several years. I have a RUT240 that stops and restarts several times a day. It even stops during the day and starts up again in the evening.
I have installed the latest firmware. I use RMS because the router is very high.
Have you solved this problem? I only use the lan. Wifi disconnected. Orange Pro SIM card with priority option.
Hello,
It looks like you might have set up ping/wget to automatically reboot your device. Maybe this is the case? Could you please check the event logs for any unexpected reboots? To do this, go to System → Maintenance → Event Logs. Then, either copy some of the logs or take screenshots and share them with us.
Best regards,
I’ve just got the router back. I’ve installed the old firmware and a backup of a RUT240 which is working fine. For the moment it seems to be working.
I’ve noticed that the CPU is running at 95% and 100% whereas on the other RUT240s I’m at 24%.
Since yesterday I’ve had the disappearance of the rut240 on the RMS. However, they are active because the equipment is working. Any ideas?
Hello,
If you have a single device, you can contact your reseller to initiate an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) if the device is still under warranty. Since you mentioned that the device has been exposed to high conditions, it might have suffered damage from corrosion or weather. You can try unscrewing the outer casing to inspect it for any visible issues.
Best regards,
