RUT240; opkg update Segmentation fault

Dear Support,

I have problem to update opkg or install new packages.

root@Teltonika-RUT240:~# opkg update
Segmentation fault

RUT Version: RUT2_R_00.07.04.5

Hello,

Perhaps any changes were made to the repositories that opkg uses?
However, I can’t imagine what configuration changes could lead to a segmentation fault for opkg, thus I’d suggest reinstalling the device using the bootloader procedure described here: RUT2xx Firmware via The Bootloader Menu - Teltonika Networks Wiki

I’m afraid it’s not possible remotely. If you’re using RMS, and don’t have a custom APN set, you should be able to reset the device and once it’s reset it should reconnect automatically. However, if the device is crucial for your operations, I suggest performing the previously described procedure once you are on-site.
