I have two RUT240 that are not able to connect RMS, thought they have credit and thought they indicate that monitoring is enabled.
First router (I have tried to force upgrade by SMS command, but it didn’t worked out):
Second router (updated)
Both Routers do not connect to RMS and I don’t know why
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
Regarding the issue with both routers not connecting to RMS, could you please check the following:
- Have you tried pressing the Connect button on both routers under Services → Cloud Solutions in the WebUI or sending the
<password> rms_connect
SMS command if the router is only accessible remotely?
- For the second router, please ensure that the Authentication code has been entered correctly if not done already.
- Please confirm if the devices are connected to the internet.
For the first router, the first step would be to ensure that the correct S/N, MAC address, and password credentials are provided when adding the device to RMS. Please note that you will not be able to update the firmware via SMS on this router as it is still running the legacy 1.06.1 version. It first needs to be updated to the latest legacy version RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.7, after which you can update to 7.06.16.
If the issue persists, I’d like to troubleshoot further. To assist with that, I have sent you a form to fill out. Please use the ticket ID “10760” when submitting it, and once submitted, we will contact you privately for further investigation.
Best regards,
OK I will try this, the first router has been updated, but still the second seems not to obey the commands I am sending to it.
Where can I found the form you sent me ? By mail, I don’t see it, I really need assistance as the problem persist
