RUT240 factory reset pw not working

I’ve got a RUT240 that I use with changing SIMcards in our holiday home.

When trying to finetune my antennae-setup I ran into the problem that suddenly the factory login credentials don’t work anymore. I can’t login via webgui nor via SSH (web did work before 100%, I remember looking at the signal strength-values).

I tried factory resetting the unit but it doesn’t work nonetheless.

Anyone got any tips? I may have updated the firmware in the past - could this lead to the credentials being incorrect? The process to resetting the FW looks pretty… involved <.<

Have you try the Bootloader menu?

Hello,

Updating the firmware should not change your credentials. However, if you were previously able to log into the WebUI, that indicates you had already set a custom password at some point, in that case, please use that password rather than the default one.

If you have since performed a factory reset, please use the credentials displayed on the device label instead.

As mentioned by @Marcelo.Barros , please try accessing flashing the firmware image using bootloader menu
