RUT240 EC25 modem firmware update

I have updated many RUT240 EC25 internal modem firmware via SSH command line in the past, most recently updating them to EC25AUSAR06A10M4G.
I recently found a couple of modems that had missed the upgrades, and attempted to perform them.
The modems are running firmware EC25AUFAR02A04M4G, and the GUI indicated that there was no update available, which is clearly incorrect.
When I installed modem_updater and sshfs and sent modem_updater -g, the only firmware available on the server was EC25AUSAR06A09M4G, which is older than previous updates I’ve done.
When I tried to update to this firmware, I got the response:

ls: /tmp/firmware/update/firehose/: Permission denied
[ERROR] No firehose folder found. Either the firmware is not right or you must use legacy mode (-l option)

Also, I have previously had to update the modems to EC25AUSAR06A06M4G before they could be updated to later versions, but this firmware wasnt on the server.

So I have 3 questions:
Is the error I got a result of not upgrading to the EC25AUSAR06A06M4G version first?
Could you please replace firmware version EC25AUSAR06A06M4G on the server, so I can try to upgrade to that?
Why was modem firmware version EC25AUSAR06A10M4G removed and replaced with the older firmware EC25AUSAR06A09M4G?

To address your queries:

  1. To clarify, there is no EC25AUS… modem firmware version available on our modem FOTA server. I believe you meant EC25AUF…?
  2. For your EC25-AU modem, the only firmware version available for download on the server is EC25AUFAR06A09M4G_01.001.01.001.
  3. At this time, there are ongoing tests related to EC25-AU DFOTA packages, which may explain why only one version is currently available.

Yes you are correct, it was a typo. I have previously been installing modem firmware EC25AUFAR06A10M4G, and the only version available on the server is now the older version EC25AUFAR06A09M4G.
But this version cant be installed directly to the modem that is currently running EC25AUFAR02A04M4G. My previous experience suggests I need to upgrade to EC25AUFAR06A06M4G first before they will upgrade further. And the error I got seems to support this idea, so how do I proceed to upgrade the modems now?
