I have RUT240, FW ver RUT2_R_00.07.06.6
The dyndns works as expected (it gets updated with the correct public ip on no-ip.com).
But on Services->Dyamic DNS page the wrong IP is shown (local LAN ip instead of the public ip on the mobile network), and in the logs the error Updating IP at DDNS provider failed - starting retry x/0 is logged every 10 minutes.
The problem was that the hostname on the router was set to the same domain as the DDNS service (eg foo.ddns.net)
So when the ddns-scripts did nslookup foo.ddns.net it returned the local IP of the device, in this case 192.168.1.234
Fixed the problem by changing the hostname of the device under System->Administration->General to something else.
