Hello,
yesterday I’ve updated two RUT240 to the latest firmware (00.07.04.4). Now both seem to have connectivity issues. I havent changed the position of the device nor of the antenna. Mobile connection shows 3 out of 5 bars and ~ -70dBm (LTE). We haven’t had anny issues befor that update.
I’ve uploaded a screenshot where you can easily see when I updated the device
Anybody having the same issue?
Hello,
I assume that the device successfully connects to the operator and obtains an IP address on the mobile interface. The issus is rather with internet connectivity when you are trying to access the internet. Is that correct?
If thats the issue, and it occured after the firmware update, could you please try two things:
- Navigate to Network → Interfaces → Edit Mob1s1a1 interface → Advanced settings → Set a different MTU. For example, try 1440 or lower values to see if the connection improves.
- There might have been some migration issues when you updated the device. Please, try restoring the device to factory defaults in System → Backup.
If the issue persists, could you please share more details about the issue?
Kind Regards,
The migration issue was a great hint. I realized that the devices periodically triggered “wget reboots”.
In the wget reboot config was a DNS displayed AND a ipv4, so it seems there broke something. I just deleted this entry and reconfigured it.
Now both deviced are up and running stable. Thanks!
