RUT240 - connection to mobile IoT

Hello. I need advice and (noob) help with establishing vpn connection with machine.
Right now the topology is as follows:

My Pc (home usage, default gateways) ----> RMS VPN —> RUT240 (sim wan) —> ethernet switch which also connects two drivers of said machine (fixed IPs and ports which needs to stay untouched; we need to have access to them)
*I can use mobile hotspot if it would make things easier.

I need vpn connection to be exacly like WLan or Lan. Right now with Rms openvpn we get like different ip range from lans (duh) which I dunno at this point if its important, and when pinging desired IP (192.168.0.125) it actually comes back with something like 5.x.x.x.x.x.x (timeouts and unreachable- so I prolly need smth with NAT settings I guess?)

I’ve tried making routes, messing around with zones but with no avail. I can’t even reach it directly via PPTP (which I would like not to use due to dyn IP of provider). I dont rly need any fancy sophisticated solutions, and using RMS seems to be good idea to avoid dyndns (I have no problem paying credits for it), but if setting up proper vpn server is more appropriate, then its no problem too.

Dunno if its important, but to use service software- I’m using Vmware. (but as for now, nothing ping’able even from windows level).

Thank you very much for your time.
Cheers

Machine openvpn (client rms)

Hello,

The IP address used in your RMS VPN HUB routes is 192.168.1.168, but you are trying to ping 192.168.0.125. This tells your OpenVPN client (PC) that is can reach 192.168.1.168 IP via RUT240 over the VPN tunnel.

What is the LAN IP address of RUT240?

Could you please draw a simple topology with IP addresses marked?

Kind Regards,
