I really need the RMS function since I bought this unit to see if Teltonika RMS has the functions that I
need for my company’s future projects. Our current provider is Craddlepoint but we are looking for a different provider with remote management. Thanks
To confirm whether it’s an RMS (Remote Monitoring System) issue or a problem with your data entry, please try copying the device information again from Services → Cloud Solutions → RMS. Additionally, ensure that the password you enter when registering the device is the current password for the device. Also, make sure you have an active internet connection, as it is crucial for RMS communication.
I can confirm all the above settings are correct. Under connection state it says Failure (Error Expired License). This unit was bought as an open box item which it might’ve been registered before.
Maybe that is the issue. If that is the case can I get it registered to my account. I currently have internet
using T-mobile SIM Card. That has no issues connecting.
In a situation like this, your device won’t be able to connect without first unregistering it from the previous account as device always has 1 credit for it’s activation for 30 days and clearly that timeframe already ended.
To unregister this, you’ll need to contact your device provider or reseller and request them to unregister it from the previous account.
Well it looks like seller doesn’t have any information when it comes to open box items. So it looks like I might have an expensive paper weight, since I only acquire it to try the RMS function.
Looks like I might have to continue using Cradlepoint for my remote management.
I noticed that you changed the hostname to a different one. The default hostname is rms.teltonika-networks.com. Please try using this default hostname instead.
