I am trying to change WAN settings from DHCP to static. I am entering the following settings:
IP: 192.168.10.104
SUBNET: 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY: 192.168.10.1
BROADCAST: 192.168.10.255
DNS1: 8.8.8.8
DNS2: 8.8.4.4
The “Save & Apply” button does not work once protocol is changed from “DHCP” to “Static”.
Is there something else that I need to do first or is this a bug. If its a bug, is there a workaround?
That is not our scenario. There is nothing to supply a static IP. We enter the WAN IP manually. The static settings are available in the RUT240. The “Save & Apply” button simply does not work.
This is exactly how we setup routers other than Teltonika for the same application and architecture. I provide the WAN IP and there is nothing to assign it.
I apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. Rest assured, our development team is fully aware of the situation and is actively working to implement a solution. We are currently in the process of resolving the issue, and you can expect it to be addressed in the upcoming firmware updates.
In the meantime, as a temporary solution, I recommend considering downgrading to an older firmware version, which may alleviate the current issue you’re experiencing. Thank you for your patience and understanding
Just wanted to let you know that the issue is fixed in the RUT2_R_00.07.06.8 firmware version. You can download it from here: RUT240 Firmware Downloads.
