RUT200 offline status on RMS through Mobile connection

Could you please advise how to proceed on the following situation.

We have a RUT200 with both 4G mobile and wired WAN connectivity to internet using failover scenario (Primary Mobile and Secondary WAN). Attached to LAN Port there is a network switch with Lenovo Desktop connected to it.

When WAN connected, we can see RUT Online on RMS (5-year management pack), but when Mobile connected only, we CAN NOT see RUT Online on RMS even though it has internet connectivity.

We are running latest FW version (RUT2M_R_00.07.08) and have mobile connectivity to internet as below, however RMS shows Failure (network is unreachable)

System > Administration > Troubleshoot Page > Ping > [www.google.com.br]

5 packets transmitted, 5 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 24.851/29.831/44.704 ms

I went to Services > Cloud Plataform > RMS > Connect Button

Appears: Tried Sucessfully connect pop-up message, however appears Failure (Network is unreachable)

We also tried removing and adding RUT again by using 4G Mobile connectivity only (no success). From RMS side is not possible to see RUT “Device did not connect back to the system. Device information will be updated once it successfully reconnects” and from RUT side it does not connect.

Another point to mention is that under Network > Failover > Multiwan > When both Wan and Mobile enable status are ON, WAN=Status Online and Mobile=Offlline. When Wan wired disable Mobile still Offline with internet connectivity.

Is there anything else to be done?

Hi renandelarco,

Apologies for the late revert. Welcome to Teltonika Networks Crowd Support!

For Failover configuration, when both WAN sources are ON, Status should be Online and Standby respectively. You have also mentioned that you already isolated the issue by using Sim Card to connect to RMS but to no avail.

When using Sim Card alone, can you confirm that you are able to reach other websites? Can you also try to access RMS website directly: rms.teltonika-networks.com ? This is to check any restrictions present in the sim.

Let me know if this helps.

Regards,

Hi renandelarco,
did you try to set the PDP type to “IPv4” only in
Network → WAN - mob1s1a1
