I have my office LAN on 192.168.1.0/24 and it is connected to the rut200 via VPN through RMS.
The remote rut 200 has a LAN network on 192.168.2.0/24 I also have a laptop there on that network running ubuntu on 192.168.2.31/24
I setup a VPN hub and routes there it works pretty well for access to the remote network.
I am able to ping the rut 200 and the laptop from my office network but not the other way around.
I am running an ftp server in my office and I need to transfer files from remote network to the office network.
I tried adding a route to the vpn hub back the way but didn’t work.
What else should I look at to allow this to work?
Hi hadwll,
Welcome to Teltonika Networks Community!
There are few things to check.
- Make sure that the devices are on the latest firmware versions.
- In RMS VPN, under Routes, enable LAN forwarding for both devices. Then add the respective routes to allow LAN connectivity.
- Disable firewall on end devices as this might cause any communication to reach/reply.
- Can you try to add the PC on office LAN as RMS VPN client instead of directly connecting it to RUT200?
Let me know your results. Thank you.
Regards,
system
