RUT200 failover reset of WAN interface

I have a RUT200 with two connections. Wired that goes to a fiber router and cellular as backup.

The problem I have is that when the fiber fails and goes to cellular, it doesn’t always switch back automatically
The fiber connection has a public IP when it works and when it fails, it gets 192.168.0.2 from the fiber router. When that happens, I need to go into the RUT200 and switch the fiber interface on and off, then it gets its public IP. I do have flush enabled on both connections.

Is there any way to solve this automatically?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, I recommend ensuring that flushing connections is enabled on both interfaces for all relevant actions, as shown in the screenshot below:

Once configured, the RUT200 should handle the transition back to the fiber connection seamlessly when it becomes available.

I hope this helps! If you need further assistance or encounter any difficulties, feel free to reach out.

Kind regards,

Hi Martynas,

All 4 are already enabled on both connections.

Thank you for the update. Could you kindly provide a screenshot from the Network → Failover page? This will help to further investigate the issue and ensure everything is configured correctly.

Sorry for the late reply. Forgot about since it has worked since then, except today when it failed to switch back.
