I have been trying to connect my RUT200 to RMS before the end of my credit, they expired yesterday, I was get the “Failed to verify your password” even when I enter the right password on the router and am still getting the “Device is temporarily blocked” I connect the device once and it become online but after rebooting it I couldn’t connect to RMS anymore on my router I get this when trying to connect “Down (Server refused connection. The device may be blocked or unidentified)” I have de/registered the device several times but still nothing.
Could you please confirm that your device credit has not expired? Additionally, could you provide a screenshot of the device connection log? You can obtain this by selecting your device and choosing View connection logs from the Device drop-down menu:
Could you please confirm if, at the end of the device registration, you saw a displayed authentication code? This code should be inserted into your device’s WebUI under Services → Cloud Solutions → RMSAuthentication code field. Alternatively, you can also view the code in RMS by navigating to Device Details:
Could you confirm if you can access the device WebUI? If so, could you try pressing Connect in Services → Cloud Solutions → RMS (if not done yet) or connect to the CLI and execute the following command:
/etc/init.d/rms_mqtt restart
If WebUI access is not possible, please try sending the following SMS commands to the router:
<admin password> rms_off
<admin password> rms_on
<admin password> rms_connect
If the issue still persists, could you provide the message displayed when clicking on the attention icon:
I can access the device UI but I get this error “Down (Server refused connection. The device may be blocked or unidentified)” after pressing connect it loads “connecting” then this error shows up
