Hi,
A month ago i managed to link and connect an RUT200 and an Siemens S1200 PLC, through OpenVPN and a wired connection for WAN, yesterday credits expired and VPN hub was disabled, after recharghing credits and enabling VPN hub i wasn’t able to connect or ping to the PLC.
I can ping VPN hub(192.168.255.6) and RUT200(192.168.255.10), and from RUT200 interface i can ping PLC(192.168.0.10) but not from VPN connection.
Hello,
Just to confirm, does your company currently have a sufficient amount of RMS data available? These are required for establishing and maintaining the VPN Hub connection.
Could you please share the current VPN Hub configuration screenshots, including routes, clients, and general settings?
You mentioned: “I can ping the VPN Hub (192.168.255.6) and the RUT200 (192.168.255.10), and from the RUT200 interface I can ping the PLC (192.168.0.10), but not from the VPN connection.”
So, just to confirm, the VPN Hub is working, and you (as the VPN client) can reach the RUT200 tunnel IP but cannot reach the PLC (192.168.0.10) connected to the RUT200 LAN, correct?
If that’s the case, please ensure that masquerading is enabled on the RUT200’s LAN firewall zone.
Additionally, there’s a pretty detailed wiki guide explaining LAN-to-LAN communication between RMS VPN Hub clients, which might provide some helpful insights:
Best regards,
