RUT140 mesh and wi-fi connections drops

Hello,
We have installed two RUT140 routers to create an isolated Wi-Fi network for the purpose of collecting data in an industrial environment.The routers are configured to create a Wi-Fi mesh as shown here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT140_Wireless#Mesh_Mode
Currently, three devices are connected to the network: a server, a small display based on esp32 and a Shelly (also based on esp32).
What we have noticed is that esp32-based devices sometimes lose their connection (even for several hours) even though they are close to the routers.
We also notice some strange behaviour: sometimes the devices do not connect to the nearest router but to the most distant one.

We have not worked with this type of device very often, so perhaps we are missing something. If you need any further information, we will be happy to provide it, even though we do not have easy access to the router graphic interface, only to their terminal.
The firmware versions used are RUT14X_R_00.07.15.4 for the primary router and RUT14X_R_00.07.17.4 for the secondary router.
