Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Please go to the Network > Wireless > SSIDs section from the WebUI, and then please click “Scan

Additionally, you will be presented with a list of all nearby SSIDs.
After choosing your preferred network, you must write down the SSID password.
And your device will be using Wi-Fi as a ‘WAN’. You can also distribute the connectivity over the LAN ports by default.

Let me know if any further help is needed.

Caner

Hello Caner,
i’ve do this, but if i try to ping the device connected at the WAN port of the RUT140, don’t have any response.
The device connected to the WAN port have a static IP address. This are the addresses:
my PC: 192.168.1.235
Router LAN-Wifi: 192.168.1.1
RUT140 : 192.168.1.100
device to connect: 192.168.1.103

many thanks

Hello,

You should connect the devices to the LAN port of the RUT140 to provide them a connectivity.
However, in our devices, you can configure each LAN port as a WAN port, and vice versa.
You can find the step-by-step instructions from here.
Please don’t forget to set your WebUI to the ‘Basic Mode
After this is configured, you will be able to give devices connectivity!

Regards,
Caner

Hello,
now i can see the WAN port with the same address of the LAN port, but only if i connect the LAN port to my laptop. But i need to ping the LAN or WAN port using the WIFI. It is possible configure the WIFI port to a static IP address ?
With a TP Link-WR802 N i made it in only 5 minutes !!!
I don’t know why it’s not possible put the RUT140 in client mode so easier.
thanks for reply
